Pathfinders
2-player VR dungeon crawler in which the VR player explores a dungeon while the second player uses the keyboard, mouse, and computer monitor to control an overhead camera to help guide the VR player, and a terminal to manipulate the dungeon.

Not to be confused with the similarly named tabletop RPG (naming is hard…). This is an asymetric 2-player VR dungeon crawler that I built with my classmates Ben Collins and Jeff Lu as our final project for a course in Virtual Reality games. One player plays in VR as the explorer, exploring the dungeon in first person. The other player plays on the computer screen as the operator, provided only a top-down view of the dungeon and a command line interface. The players work together to navigate the explorer through the dungeon to collect codes and information only visible to the explorer. The operator manipulates the dungeon via the CLI, influencing enemy behavior, opening and closing doors, and guiding the explorer around obstacles and hazards.
