Hereford Steer

Wet folded in green Elephant Hide, painted white on the back in acrylic paint.

I used acrylic paint not diluted or mixed with any blending medium (I added some water on refills of the paint) and this wasn’t a good approach. The paint was much too thick and I went through way too much trying to cover the paper. It also stuck to itself throughout the folding process which made folding this tricky. However it still ended up looking good in the finished model. In the future I should use a blending medium and mix it probably with MC like Michael Lafosse suggests.

I really like this design, especially the head and body. I think the limbs could be executed better but the folding process for those was a bit unclear. The tail looks good too. I really love the forehead and overall boxiness of the face, it looks like an idealized cow. The color change on this model was really good too. One of my favorite folds thus far.
