Jellyfish (Cyanacea)

Dry-folded in homemade shimmery blue and white sandwich paper, although all the white is covered.

I used the blue luster tissue paper for this but it was unnecessary because the aluminum foil underneath already sparkles through the paper enough without the luster in the tissue itself.

Very predictable folding process, I had an idea how this would be folded going in and the actual process didn’t differ much from that. This isn’t a bad thing! I love how such a simple base turns into such a fluid and natural model through shaping alone.

Difficult model to display. Ended up getting an 8" ornament hanger and hung the model from the hanger with invisible fishing line wrapped around a metal shelf hanging dowel which I inserted through the opening in the top.
