Notes

Dry-folded in Copper “Tissue Foil” (origami-shop).

This fold was extremely tedious and the copper particles kept coming off into the air and on my hands and gave me a headache. I folded this over two days. I had practiced a miura fold prior to folding this to help with the tail, and I’m happy I did since that part was very challenging. I love the effect that the tail gives, and this has turned out to be one of my more impressive folds when showing it to others. In the future I would use an even thinner paper since it gets extremely thick in the body, and I’d take extra care to get the tail to look right. I wish this thing would balance on its feet but it’s far too back-heavy, so I should consider that next time I fold it.
