Ring-Tailed Lemur

Partial wet-folded in homemade double tissue paper (black and white).

This paper was extremely hard to fold. It was extremely crumpled, not square, and felt like folding plastic that was trying to peel apart at all the raw edges.

I’m not particularly happy with the result but given the difficulties I had with the paper I’m still impressed that it turned out recognizable at all. The head did not come together that well and is probably my least favorite part of the finished model. The tail on this design is really cool and in a better paper could look really good.

For subsequent folds it’d be cool to try to pose the model so that it can hang by its tail. I think the limbs may need to be redesigned to give them the freedom to pose correctly, but the focus of this model is really on the head and tail anyway.
